How It works

Thank you for your interest in consigning with us! We are accepting appointments for consignment. You may bring a few items for us to look through and we will choose a maximum of 5 items during any one appointment to sell in the store. They need to come in clean and ready to wear (ironed etc), on hangers.  You will receive your hangers back during the appointment. Please do not bring your items in a laundry hamper. If the items come in wrinkled and they are accepted, we will charge a steaming fee of $20 per 5 items. We will steam, price, photograph and promote the items. Once sold, you will receive 50% of the sale price less GST. (If your item sells for $99, you will receive $45).

You have 3 options for payment. 
1. Collect cash or cheque in store - we require 24 hours’ notice for cash payments for more than $50
2. Bank transfer of funds 
3. Use as store credit towards a purchase 

Time Frames

We will sell the items at full price for 3 months and if they haven't sold, we will mark them down to 50% off for a further 4 weeks. If they still have not sold, you will need to come into the shop on the last day of the consignment period to pick them up, or let us know if we can donate them on your behalf. Expect to be in the shop for about 20 minutes to review the items and sign a contract. 

The consignment period is four months in total. At the end of the consignment period, the stock must be removed from the store. You may either pick the items up, or let us know if you prefer we donate the items. You will receive one reminder at the end of the consignment period. If you have not responded or have not shown up to pick up the items, you agree that they will be donated. 

We accept a variety of items from bathers to bridal. If you are not sure about your items, please feel free to give us a call on 08 9367 7394 or send photos through to 0474 205 670 via SMS. 

Authentication

We must authenticate all designer items, including handbags, clothing, sunglasses and jewellery, before we will agree to sell them on your behalf. This is regardless of if you have a receipt or card. This is not negotiable, however the fee may be negotiable depending on the number of items that you wish to consign.

The fees begin at $20, however most item authentications are $40. Chanel 28xx series and higher begin at $60 and Hermes begins at $90. Authentication Certificates are available for an additional cost.

This fee is payable regardless of if your item is sold and is non-refundable should an item be deemed as not authentic.

A bottom price will be established during your appointment, which is the minimum amount that you will receive once the item has sold. Store commission will be added on top of this price.

GST of 10% is added to this price.

(Bottom Price + Store Commission + GST = Sell Price)

The shop will absorb credit card and Afterpay surcharges.

We will not sell the item for less than the agreed upon price without your consent. The consignment period length will be determined during your appointment and is negotiable.
